anananas studio is a Sweden-based games studio that creates unique, surreal, and immersive VR experiences. We're convinced that Virtual Reality is the next step in the evolution of gaming and immersive experiences. We want to be part of the journey and hopefully you'll join us!

History

In the beginning...

anananas studio was founded in June 2021 by two brothers, Raheb Naisan, who is a programmer, and Massih Naisan, an illustrator and graphics designer. The two had been discussing the idea of collaborating on a project for quite some time, and in the summer of 2020, those discussions finally led to the creation of several game ideas. With the addition of their close friend Rami El Refai, who is a talented sound designer, they began working on their first project—which they later named DunDun VR—in the fall of the same year. All three members of the team have been passionate gamers since the days of MS-DOS and the Nintendo 8-bit era.

...there was DunDun VR

On September 29th, 2021, anananas studio released their debut game, DunDun VR, for free on SteamVR. This short, surreal, and humorous experience has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from players, and has surpassed fifteen thousand unique installs.

LIMINAL PHASE

LIMINAL PHASE is the second game project, and first commercial game release by anananas studio. This VR action-horror game is set in a parallel '90s, where players will fight malevolent monsters, solve peculiar puzzles, and explore the dark corners of a fractured mind consumed by video games. LIMINAL PHASE was featured in the Upload VR Summer Showcase 2022 and 2023, and is available on the HTC VIVE XR Elite, VIVEPORT, SteamVR, App Lab and PICO.
